The worst thing about this song is when it ends. I could listen for hours.

Tony Stark did not have to die all the Avengers needed to do was play this song during the battle and it would have snapped away Thanos’s army

Anyone else hear The Cure - If Only Tonight We Could Sleep in the first 2 minutes?

That beginning reminds me of the sniper scene toward the end of Full Metal Jacket.

Could be the drum is the tool.

place a tool, within a perfect circle.......or perhaps draw a perfect circle with a tool......the result.....will still be breath taking

No new musical ideas here, unfortunately...This is essentially self-repetitive as if they rehashed everything that Lateralus and 10.000 days are into a smaller format. Personally, I hope this is a prank - which sadly it isn't. Naturally one cannot judge before listening to the whole thing though, but this song definitely gives me a sense of dread while listening to it because back then- 13 years ago- each Tool album I listened to introduced me-and I think everybody listening to Tool- to entirely novel musical experiences.

Put this on when I woke up... it was just on my mind... third time now since I've been up. Wow

I associate the intro metallic chime sounds to the new logo. Like it's an ancient tuning fork from a thousand years ago.

My verdict so far: I like it! It's not blowing me out of the water the way Lateralus did, but I still like it! Keenan's vocals still move me the way they did 13 years ago, I love the way everything builds up and comes together, and the positivity us something I need in my life right now. I'm interested in hearing the rest of the album. I'm so glad to hear new music from them.
