Recently I was told that "Biracial and mixed people are not black and they should start their own race".
I wish people understood that their is a difference between mixed and biracial. It's funny when I hear people accusing me of being biracial, yet I do not have any white parents or white family. But logic and facts fail a lot of people.... CLEARLY.

I'm constantly told by other people who do NOT know me that I'm biracial or I'm "not Black enough". I may be mixed, but I'm definitely not biracial. I don't have one white parent. I have a biracial (African & indigenous) mother who happens to be Puerto Rican and a Black (African) father who happens to be Jamaican. But hey everyone loves to tell people exactly what they are, even when they don't know. I was told that the marker for being Black was at least 55% African. I did a DNA test an surpassed that marker, as I'm 62% African.... But since it's me, apparently the marker has now been moved higher. What's funny is Cardi B is Dominican and Trinidadian and she's classed as Black. But me being Jamaican & Puerto Rican I'm not classed as a Black? Does that make sense?... Well actually what it boils down to, is, I'm not a woman. If I was a woman with my exact same percentage of African, the same men calling me "not Black" would be saying "yes she's Black" as well as probably trying to sleep with me (idiots). Black men and Black women need to start learning the differences between race, culture and nationality. Maybe some people should take an Ancestry DNA test before they open their mouth.

Afro Latinos and Afro Latinas are Black! Hence the "Afro" dumb ass. Caribbean, Black men and Black women, being mixed but still Black.

This video is for everyone that says "you are whatever your father is" http://www.youtubesmov.com/mov/oaY1yyQWcUk/vid.html?

Thanks for the video! It's mostly back people that try and tell biracials that we are not Black. It's very annoying. I mean we have a whole Black parent that half of our DNA comes from.

I grew up thinking this was obvious... It saddens me that people would even bother to argue against this idea. Especially since every mixed person is considered contaminated by white racists... Of course they're with me; we're all in this together!

Thank you Angel! Love your video bro. I cant stand black people pushing biracials away and I hate biracials pushing their black side away. White people see both of us black people and biracials as black. We share the same struggle. It hurts me seeing biracials and black people fighting amongst each other. I love my black people that includes my biracial brothas and sistas! It hurts bro, it hurts! I'm very passionate about my people. Great video bro!

I would really like to understand how can biracial/mixed people get classified another race when there is no such thing as a pure race anymore?? I've always felt that way, thank you Angel for bringing this to the forefront... A lot of Ignorant people out there...

I am so sick of our young dumb brothers and sisters who came up with a category that mix or light skin people need to have their own race... I don't care how dark your skin is, no one born in the United states of America is 100% pure Black... Africans from Africa would tell a black man born in America that he is not a pure black man even if his skin was the color of a car tire.. Black people born in the USA has white blood in them.... So get over it and stop being racist against mixed people or light skin people...... Young uneducated black people so sad...... go find out what the (Willy Lynch speech) is about

Thank you once again for laying wisdom down. But here's the thing. My mother and a lot of others like her struggle with this subject. She identifies, though offensive to many, as quadroon. Her mother being Polish white and her father being mixed. Her hair is straight and her features tend toward a light hispanic/native american look. She and many others like her can't even truly say they have any sort of self identifying racial inner peace.

When it all boils down, the REAL issue here is "do we trust them to be supportive when their allegiance HAS to be tainted?" How can they know the struggle? Well, they DO!! At least those who have an intelligent mind and open heart.

But if you desire to open eyes (and I KNOW YOU DO) you and I and many other truth seekers know that there are 33rd degree blacks who STILL don't have a clue when it comes to being supportive in the universal FIGHT.

Nevertheless, I love what you're doing and have followed you for years. To some degree, I consider you a prophet of sorts. I use that term gingerly because of my faith in Jesus Christ (no apologies). Still, your mandate is clear. Peace, love and coconut oil!💖

It's funny how the proverbial coin flipped on this. At one point, even up until the late 80s, if you had a parent or as the "massa" would say a drop of black in pure white blood makes you black. Now that narrative has begun to change from what I see.

There are dark mixed people as well

I don't mind identifying as biracial but when people tell me I can't be apart of black culture because I'm only half black, that pisses me off.

Being light skin don't mean you are mixed, and coming from Africa doesn't necessarily mean that you are dark skin, most people from the US especially black Americans confuse this fact and know nothing about this..for instance,I am from Kenya ,not mixed with anything at all..

God bless you. I’m so glad you mentioned all the biracial people black people would have to give back based on their ignorance.

Just come to South Africa. You have a whole fam here, fam. A bunch of multi-generational multiracial people classified as "coloured" (including myself). There's around 4 million of us lol

U would have to give back Alicia Keys, Monica Brown, KeKe Wyatt, & Malcolm X cuz he was a quarter Scottish & Frederick Douglas too cuz he was half white lol 😂😂😂 fukn hilarious

yo i've was saying this for years now it took me watching about 4to5 of your videos and checking info to see where you was coming from but yes i agree in 2019 everything is not just black and wight but its is a mix of everything keep seeking the truth and the rest will find you

I think eventually everyone one is going to be mixed

I think this way of thinking is adopted because when black people are in mainstream media biracial, mixed, “ambiguous” are displayed proudly. Then some think their better and tease people who look like me. Some Even accepted by other cultures because they look closer to whiteness. Me for example I’m dark skinned and unambiguous. It’s really hard for me to find myself in all variations in mainstream media Versus people who look mixed or biracial. Media tends to put the fairer skinned person as representation for the ENTIRE community. Then When they see me are confused and angry because thats not what is displayed for the masses to see. Both spaces should be represented so all are accepted and embraced.

If your biricial in if your mom black then you black cause your mom black

The color black is dominant white Gene's are recessive and all colors comes from people with dominant Gene's or black. People which have recessive Gene's babies will have recessive Gene's if their father and mother have recessive genes.

In south Africa the biracial / mixed race group have historically been separated. They are like a race separate from black people. It was designed that way by the system of apartheid.

As a so called Biracial black man I agree with this post

I actually am 100% African which is funny 😂😂 both my parents are black Nigerians from the yoruba tribe

There's no such thing as a bi-racial person if one of your parents are black then you're black cuz the black Gene is dominant a lot of white mothers who have kids by a black man tell the kid that they're biracial instead of telling them the truth are black no two three ways about it the black Gene is dominant remember that

Big facts.

Thank you so much for doing this video. I am so tired of the hypocrisy. I don't necessarily believe in the one drop rule, but I don't think black people really mean what they say.
