Why is he chosing this case when he obviously does not know basic facts. The general and his staff agreed that hastings might publish their conversation.
I'm a mechanic an yes, its possible. Depending on model of car and if it had electronic throttle and brake. Only catch is one would need access to the diagnostic port and leave a plug in or thru a system like onstar
There are far easier ways to take somebody out than this. Suspicious? Maybe, but I doubt there's much water to it. Could have committed suicide like anybody who went against Hillary.
It was definitely possible because a year or two earlier before his death researchers released info that many cars and trucks like the Jeep Cherokee had open IP access and were prone to be completely controlled, speed, stop, steering, spoof the dials etc, VICE did a piece on them and this was long before Hastings death, the info was out there to average people, they also did a presentation with their findings and wrote a paper, go look. This is just one way because of the prevalence of microcontrollers being used no to automate things are easily hackable and made with no security in mind.
"next door neighbours to crystal meth". fucking moron
They hacked the planes on 9/11 👀
Boris from GoldenEye
"entirely possible as long as there is a physical connection to the car" Key word "physical" Wireless hacking is still not possible.
He is very very smart and he is talking in a slow paste manner this is because he is not trying to spill the tea
Jie Rogan common, GM cars have OnStar. BMWs can self park. Teslas can do it all. Mechanics attach obd2 scanners and activate any part of car. Ofcourse its possible.
Yes, this seems fishy to me because car accidents never happen. I think it's been like the 1970's since anyone drove fast, got in an accident, and died. At least in the United States, maybe in other countries
Software glitch 11:35 think about Millions LOL, LOL, LOL, okay bro I'm going to leave you alone now.
6:00 RoRo (hacking) you believe him,?? I detect a fairy tale body language tells me Fairy Tail Time, it's not a matter matter of their product I'm sure their product is great it's the bad guy hacking into it.ROGAN IM FUCKING PISSED. They take my fucking opiates away and they got a i in there just with a open butthole anybody could stick to key right inside we're all fucked this government's fucked our brains are fucked I'm going to go get hi have a nice day. The end.... And I mean it.
The car probably has software controlled speed management, that could've easily been hacked
Is that James bonds younger self?
I think it's possible someone broke into his car and changed the software from the inside. Most cars have easy access to the computer module to change things. It's really not that secure when you can plug a laptop into everything and change things here and there.
The question is not if its been weaponized. The real question is to what extent? Hacking is one thing. But with total access its another story all together. With that era MB had abs and fly by wire + the ability to be interfaced with in real time. Electronic power steering too.
why do we need a computer between me and my engine? why do the snow flakes feel they have to have a computer everywhere. you can replace 20 million lines of code that can be hacked with a simple fucking accelerator cable...sometimes we dont need this shit.
3:55 So skeptical of 2013 tech, really?
Joe "if i die in my telsa its a conspiracy" rogan
It absolutely happened. I have sources that I will not reveal.
Joe: "Adderall is essentially amphetamines"Adderall: literally says "amphetamine" on the bottle
You do not even need to take complete control of the vehicle. All you need to do is hack the computer and tell it to accelerate... Damn it as I was typing this you said that 😂
1:10 solution, redundancy cameras with their own unique IP address that confirm what camera-1 has seen before an action is made. common sense, right?
The vehicle systems in 2013 especially in a Mercedes control more than enough of the vehicle to hack it, take control of the braking, throttle and steering.... ABS controls the brakes, that's hack-able... Electric Assisted Steering, that's hack-able... Throttle By Wire, that's hack able! Don't forget a few years ago some white hat hackers took control of a new Jeep GC on the outskirts of Pittsburgh and basically controlled the brakes, throttle and steering and pulled itoff to the side of the road. They were trying to show the MFG's that were using the same hardware (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Audi, Nissan and I think Mercedes) were vulnerable remotelyvia WiFi.
I already know of a person who’s Car was completely hacked by his Landlord. 2013 Fiat 500, Car slammed on it’s brakes and put itself into Limp Mode on the freeway. 5 minutes later he gets a text that says “Gotcha Bitch”. I would call him a Liar but there was 3 people in the car that backed up his story
Glad Hastings name come up. You rarely hear about his death anymore. He kept poking the MIC it was bound to happen. JFK, MLK, RFK, meet Hastings and Rich.
This is Uh Merri KKKah when have we ever killed anyone of our own on our soil.........
