Rep. Matt Gaetz engaged in a testy exchange with former White House counsel under Richard Nixon, John Dean, who appeared before the House Judiciary Committee in a hearing on lessons learned from the Mueller report. The wide-ranging back-and-forth included how much money Dean had made accusing others of acting like Nixon and the prospect of using a Ouija board to raise the specter of the former president himself.

A heads up here. I'm a Brit. A Trump fan and have been following this from the very beginning. The problem I have is I'm watching and thinking " right so this latest revelation must see someone arrested " ? Or even interviewed and again nothing. You then watch this utter embarrassment in front of the world and the people do nothing ? There should be Yellow Vest like protests everywhere ! This is a farce ! A complete and utter farce
I thought our politicians were corrupt an utterly inept but these guys take the medal by far FFS

People are too busy working. Unemployment #s are lowest since the War effort in the 1940s. A lot of people don't have time to devote to studying this and never learned the basic framework of the US Constitutional Republic because they went to public school. We have a lot of dual income families and households where people are tired at the end of the day, and see all this garbage.

Trump has a long-term familiarity with this because he identifies with blue collar workers more than billionaires, and has had his fingers on the pulse of the electorate since the 1970s. He thinks on totally different terms than the DC-Presstitute incest ring.

Is he drunk again?

The Florida Bar Association has opened an investigation into whether loud-mouthed Gaetz violated professional conduct rules by threatening former Trump fixer Michael Cohen ahead of Cohen’s congressional testimony on Wednesday. Gaetz, like most of his crony GOP hacks, is an ethically-challenged, hypocritical, buffoon. I would be embarrassed to have him represent me in Congress. He needs to retreat to the nearest slimy rock and hide like the other vile insects in the soil. His disgraceful conduct is only exceeded by his ignorance.

By the way, the ethically-challenged Gaetz is also notorious for his multiple DUI and speeding violations. He can run but he can't hide from his motor vehicle violations. Here's what is noted in Wikipedia about the drinking and driving and speeding behavior of the GOP hack from Florida. He needs to save his sanctimonious behavior for the highway. Relatedly, he probably would do well to take a breathalyzer test before reporting for his congressional duties. In 2008, Gaetz was arrested under a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) as he was driving back from the Swamp, a nightclub on Okaloosa Island, Florida. Police recorded Gaetz driving 13 mi/h over that area's speed limit. Police noted that Gaetz had shown physical signs of intoxication, initially denied that he had drank alcohol, but later admitted to drinking two beers. Gaetz failed an eye test twice, then declined field sobriety tests. After Gaetz was arrested, he refused to take a breathalyzer test. Shortly after Gaetz's case was referred to state attorney Steve Meadows, Gaetz's driving license was reinstated. Despite a time period of a year's suspension is mandated by Florida law when a driver refuses a breathalyzer test, Gaetz's suspension was less than a year long. Gaetz's refusal also did not lead to a criminal prosecution, where it could have been used against him. An officer for the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles declared there was no evidence that Gaetz refused a breathalyzer test, despite the arresting police officer having documented it in an affidavit and Gaetz's arrest report, and Gaetz's own attorney also documenting it. Gaetz's attorney also claimed a unnamed witness who knew Gaetz "observed no indication of impairment". Charges against Gaetz were dismissed by Meadows. Gaetz cited the dropped charges as proof that he was innocent. Between 1999 and 2014, Gaetz received 16 speeding tickets in Florida. The Scripps Florida Investigative Team reviewed Gaetz and 159 other Florida legislators, noting that 46 legislators have more than 10 driving violations.

Convicted felon and disbarred lawyer John Dean said publicly that he was at the hearing before the Congress NOT for any fact (John Dean answered to Congressman Matt Gaetz). Blatantly lying to the public by desperately setting up all the fake hearings before the Congress like those of convicted felon John Dean and convicted liar Michael Cohen to influence the American public opinion, Nadler is truly committing criminal obstruction of justice. Facts can be rejected, if they don't fit with Democrats' beliefs. Indeed, this whole fake hearing of John Dean before the Congress is truly a "prop" laughably, amateurishly and desperately set up by Democrats to make a spectacularly failed version of "That '70s Show" or "The Ghost of Christmas Past" on national TV.

Next witness, Rob “Meathead” Reiner, one of the original snowflakes on television.

It's certainly questionable about John Dean's memory. Answering to Congressman Matt Gaetz’s questions before the Congress, John Dean publicly said he remembered neither how much money he got from CNN as a political contributor nor how much he made from selling his book about George W. Bush as a new Richard Nixon! It surprised no one that John Dean was convicted felon and disbarred lawyer. Most importantly, this fake hearing of John Dean before the Congress is quite similar to the last Michael Cohen hearing hoax also set up by Democrats. Both Michael Cohen and John Dean are well known criminals-the former is a convicted liar and the latter was a convicted felon, and both of them are shamefully disbarred lawyers. Who can trust those disbarred lawyers who are convicted liars or convicted felons? NO ONE. Continuing to pursue their collusion delusion while piling on lie after lie, Democrats dementedly repeatedly humiliated themselves on national TV and in front of hundreds of millions of Americans. Most shockingly, the eerie similarity between Nixon's and Trump's case is #SPYING. History indeed repeats itself, but this time turned the tables on Democrats. Democrats are doomed. The American public surely recognized the eerily parallel scandal between Nixon's Watergate and Democrats’ #SPYGATE. Watergate was all about wiretapping to spy on the political opponent's campaign, so is Democrats' #SPYGATE illegally spying on Trump and his campaign. Truly, #SPYGATE is really bigger than Watergate. Democrats are doomed.

Gaetz is a joke. He wishes he was half the man any of the rest of them are.

Yeah, that's why the Republicans can only try to make a joke of the process instead of have a legitimate argument on the matter. They'll regret it. The constitution will stand.

Mr. Dean's laugh is absolutely priceless! Just how the audience, even those on 🎪Gaetz'🃏 side, laughs in total unison to every 🔥BURN🔥Mr. Dean gives to this drunken amateur. It almost had me thinking this was another hilarious SNL skit!!
