If we ever did interactive content, what would you want to see? Let's see all those weird and wonderful Beautiful Bastard brains of yours at work. <3

Philip DeFranco so... who won the shirts???

It may have been deleted now, but there were these two series by thus one company where you had to help the main character fight through a zombie attack, and escape a doomed space station. They were a lot of fun, and I enjoyed them both.

I would be interested to see a choice to cover 1 of 2 minor stories for the next video coming after. I would be interested to hear how you think you would attach it to the end of the video like you did this one but with a quantifiable response that you could see, kinda like instagram polls.

Philip DeFranco I would want to see Game of Thrones redone with viewers choosing how the series goes.

I want a first person first gay experience starring only Phillip DeFranco.

I think it is a good move to make TV interactive like a lot of people said there is an audience for interactivity. It is a lot of work for the producers and creators of this media. It would be interesting to watch and see how different people think and choose what they want I just do not want things to come out like the interactive stories from the tellTale games where your choice does not make a difference. However, Interactivity is dangers for whoever makes them I can see because you are working multiple times harder because you are making branches of story. I think for how much interactive is interesting it is equally likely to fail because most stories that have a single storyline can still fail. So when you think about it if an interactive show fails. It would be safe to think that it has failed multiple times.

In the end of the day, it's just content like any other. So your continuous rant was the one that wasting our time

Netflix has had a couple of shows that were interactive.

I loved bandersnatch and I sat for hours trying to get all the choices. I would love if there would be more of choose interactive media like it in the future.

Wouldn’t interactive tv be the same as a RPG I mean sure it sounds cool but it’s not like it’ll be the same premises of what Mark did I think it’ll work out a whole lot differently and therefore I can’t see this becoming mainstream because then that means both video games and television would be mending together. But then again who knows if they bring out the kind of story telling they use for video games for TV it just might become a hit

I clicked because i saw Markiplier ♡

I watch tv so I don't have to do anyting. Why would I want it interactive? That's what video games are for

All I got to say and I haven't even watch the whole video I'm only like a few minutes in but my opinion of interactive television is no and my reason is when I'm watching TV (Netflix) I'm eating supper or something like that and I don't want to be having to interact with something while I'm just trying to eat lol

Honestly, I'm torn. I like the novelty of it, but I just really don't see it as for me personally. I find that I'm often disappointed by the decisions taken with mob based choices. And as for experiences where it's just myself, I'd much rather passively absorb a good story. Having said that, I can definitely understand where the dynamic nature of the experience would appeal to many. Regarding whether or not I see it taking off, I'm more in line with what the first guy said: Much like VR, I see it persisting, but not necessarily dominating.

mark's fingers are dirty

This channel is very different from my own channel but it's nice.

This sounded like they were trying to emulate games even before the mentioned games. The thing is, Quantum Break tried to merge games and TV and it wasnt very good, so as long as they dont do that they got a shot.

hmmmm interactive content sounds a lot like fucking video games doesn't it.

I know this is not the point of the video but I loved choose your own adventure (CYOA) books. My English teacher in middle school and I had an argument (sorta) once when she said books were only written in first and third person. I told her that wasn’t true because many CYOA books are written in second person and she got so upset about me contradicting her.... that aside I love interactive storytelling. I personally find myself watching movies or tv shows wishing I could make other choices... and interactivity and the impact it makes on the story is a large part of what draws me to RPGs. I hope more media includes it in the future.

I remember when Shane Dawson/ Totally Sketch did something similar back when annotations were a thing. 😞

I would love to see a well done interactive horror movie.
Car gets a flat in the middle of no where. Use the spare, call for a tow, or head straight for the abandoned chainsaw factory?

Which choice keeps you safe and which choice advances the plot? Who can get the most horrifying ending? Go to such and such after the show to find out!

I find it fun with black mirror bandersnatch however I think it needs to stay as movie aspect. Placing it television show where people have conversations about different ending will be frustrating.

I remember the first interactive video I ever stumbled upon way back when on smpfilms with Cory "Mr Safety" Williams. Damn that was forever ago.

I create interactive Instagram videos via stories! The engagement is crazy and people are super engaged and really enjoy it. However the amount of work is pretty insane as I have to prepare all of it beforehand. For one story I usually invest 12-20 hours of just editing depending on the size of the story

I am surprised you didn't mention the game aspect of it. I am hoping the interactive movies to be the next big thing. Think about the effect it left in the comics, that time Jason Todd was voted to be killed off, the result was far more stronger and personal than the whole run on Jason as Robin till that day. It was literally the day Jason joined in the cool characters :P
Anyways, Speaking of interactive decision-based narratives, I made a game for Valentine... I doubt you be reading this or be interested, but on the off chance of Merlin's Magic you did and you had 10~15 min to spare, please play my game and let me know what you think (anyone that's reading, feel free to do the same):

Funny how you never mentioned the FineBros in the series, when they had countless of 'choose your own adventure' videos.

I’m pretty good at throat punching. Having one of these shirts would only solidify that irl...

What I'm excited about is when a new movie comes out, I'll watch it once or twice. If there are multiple possible endings and an almost infinite number of ways to get there, the rewatch value goes way up.

I loved the black mirror episode, it brought me back to my childhood of reading goosebumps books

I need a throat punch university shirt. Bday 🎁?😏

Not sure how immersive the interactive show can be, yes choose your own adventure is fun because it leave part to your imagination but we'll see where it goes. And for the shirt I woven one is very nice and would wear one like that at work ;)

I think this would be very very useful in the future. what companies like telltale basically making this what more expensive I think in the future making a telltale like game will be very popular on Netflix. But we will see in the future

who doesnt like shirts?
