@JayzTwoCents A broken belt would mean a complete engine failure then, right? I guess you wouldn't technically overheat haha.

@JayzTwoCents in your camaro and truck, single cam in block, the water pump is not part of the timing system. if it's mechanical, its run off your accessory belt, or it's electric.

@Ryan Evans This isn't true, not 100% anyway. There are interference and non-interference engines. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interference_engine)
In a non-interference engine the pistons and valves have enough clearance they would never touch or "interfere" with each other.

Also, it's absolutely true that some vehicles have water pumps that run via the timing belt. I know this for a fact because both my Sebring and PT Cruiser have timing belt driven water pumps. This is a kit for the repair: https://www.amazon.com/Gates-TCKWP265A-Engine-Timing-Water/dp/B001NYHO2O

Will metal tubing also lower temps? Im unsure about it and really wondering, since the metal itself also conducts water and kind off works like a heatsink right?

Great! It'll be 2025, then.

4:29 You would be right @JayzTwoCents, except... ONLY the metal tubing fittings from alphacool have all that new technology.. so for now, if you use flexible tubing, your better off with EKWB, PrimoChill, or Bitspower... sucks :/

I used to have to cut titanium and stainless tubes like that in the Air Force. My god what a nightmare lol even with leverage and in a vice it’s like trying to cut a diamond with a butter knife.

Aw, nick is gone? I figured you had expanded and he was doing more editing or something.

Dose the length of the loop matter for cooling the GPU and CPU?
this idea stuck in my head “more water better cooling results” maybe! 🧐
