I was once working at a fast food restaurant and got promoted to manager and noticed all the other managers were a**holes to the employees. I tried telling them that they should be more respectful to them, then they would be more inclined to respect you and do things for you. I remember being a regular employee so as manager I hated telling them to do something I preferred to just ask them to do it like a favor and they always did, but when the other managers told them to do something they were more hesitant to do it and give them a hard time. There are people who are afraid to talk back to their boss in fear of losing a job but there are plenty of other better jobs out there and you shouldn't trade your dignity for a crappy job or any job. Never give up your principles and values for a job and stand up for yourselves, you would feel better about who you are and have a higher confidence.
A conversation between Joey Diaz and Daryl Davis would be a eardrum massage in the worst way possible
Lol I just left a shitty detailing job 400$ a week 50-60 hours a week fucking starving
Joe Rogan is the world's best interrogator. You don't even know you're about to confess, you think you're just bullshitting with Joe.
So true how Joe and Henry describe the common work-a-day world for the vast majority of us humans.I was forewarned about that world from observing my parents while I was growing up. They both absolutely hated their jobs (my dad was an industrial engineer and my mom was a teacher) and my dad especially would bitch and moan about his job every day at the dinner table. He would come home from work usually pissed off, down 2 or 3 beers and fall asleep watching TV, then stagger into the kitchen to eat dinner. He hated his life but scrimped and saved like a maniac and was able to retire at age 58.My mom also absolutely hated her teaching job in the last 10 years before she retired at age 55. As summer vacation was drawing to a close and the new school year was approaching she became incredibly depressed and would cry all the time. Man, that sucked, but they had two kids to support and put through college so they each felt they had no choice but to grin and bear it as best they could.
"This guy whose house I burgled was a real scumbag..."
He sounds like cad bane from star wars
Hate dicks... this is true
Young Joey Diaz’s today are wearing black timberlands, a fake Louie Vuitton shirt, and air pods. Ready and waiting to steal your sack of weed and help you look for it
A line of work with scumbags is tree work. Crackheads and pieces of shit!
Rogan most certainly does not have more minority Uncle Joey
“Listen to me [insert random story]”
Joey Diaz stoned makes me happy.
yup i had those bosses nurses that become managers some think they are high and mighty all of a sudden screw them
I've been very fortunate. I've never had a bad boss.
Joe Rogan just explained my first job (scaffolding) and I remember we had to go to Texas one time to this big ass house to build a scaffold all the way around the whole house and my supervisor stayed in the truck and drunk 2 old english 40’s and that’s when I stopped going because I felt I was way smarter than dude and yet he’s telling me what to do Edit: I also had to buy my own tools or I could buy it from the head bosses shop for double the amount that harbor freight in the next town over had
Most employers are dirtbags, but it's not the owners, it's the mid-level managers.
I sit on a night drinking whiskey listening to Joey Diaz and Joe Rogan and there is nothing better 👌
In the flip side of this, if you have a cool boss who not a dick, it’s the greatest feeling ever because it doesn’t feel like your working. When that boss asks you to do something, it doesn’t feel like your being forced to work. It feels like your doing a favor to that person.
I know a guy thats 50 without teeth that does heroin everyday on these huge construction towers lol
Such a relevant topic! Even worse when you’re a man and your boss is a female sociopath that clearly hates men
I worked in a warehouse once and this boss I had....Huge dick, never once did he smile the entire time I was there, every morning I'd say "Morning sir." He'd just be like "Meh..." I get it, it's the morning you're not in the best mood why I always say "morning" and never "good morning" cause not everyone is having a good morning. But he did also talk bad to the other employees, scream at us and all kinds of shit, the working conditions also suck, I was there for like 3 months then left, couldn't take it anymore. Then one day like weeks later I saw him in the store and he was like "Hey man! What's up?" All in an okay mood. That was weird, probably his day off. Lol
I've had my first job for almost a year now and I'm thankful I've had no problems
Alcohol addiction is nuts
Meanwhile: "Jaimie, pull that shit up."
Joe “I’ll kick you in your fuckin head” Rogan
So fucked up but so good so good! Ha.
Bosses can’t be buddy buddy to employees because they will walk all over you. You also can’t be an asshole because your employees will hate you.
