I don't know what it is about this and the last part of the movie where he uses his blood to draw a smile on his face but it makes me tear up

A masterpiece. Saw it last sunday and the movie is still in my thoughts. Joaquin did a masterclass of acting. His Joker is such a tragic character. Batshit insane but tragic nontheless.

You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push!

Wunderbar!!!

Audience: You compose this ?
Hildur: Yes, isn't it beautiful ?
Best theme of the entire movie right here.

2019's biggest gifts for the world are Chernobyl and Joker. Behind both, there is Hildur Gudnardóttir.

Batman and joker were born on the night.

Nobody is talking about how dead and sad his eyes were during the movie. The guy literally can act only using his bloody eyes!!!! His blank expression, empty gaze. OMG

This movie is better than all of marvel movies combined

When I watched this, the reactions from the audience were something I had not seen before. Several elderly people were there watching it too. At many points people hid their faces, drew gasps and at the end scene people were just dead silent, hands clasped or with just astounded faces. It felt like the audience had just watched a documentary about someone’s life and just shook their heads to their fall. What Arthur did just because he was not seen.

Truly astounding movie. Loved it. The audience reactions were heartfelt and the acting and music had real impact.

Marvel will never be able to recreate the beauty that was this movie

Joker was an metaphorical representation of the devastation society can bring into the world. People sense of power and superiority over the weak, thus Joker was an strong victim who had an mental illness, a rough childhood, and no one treats him properly. I mean I don't blame him for going crazy I woudve have to.

I'm a fan's joker ... I love him

Marvel had ten years and two epic movies with dozens of heroes in those films, and later that year all it took was a clown to ruin the hype train. The Dark Knight did the same to all the previous Marvel movies as well, which goes to show you that Batman and the Joker are the greatest hero/villain duo ever created and will forever be iconic. They have raised the bar in which no one else will ever top.
