highly recommend everybody goes and watches joker then the dark knight right after , i just did and it was amazing . joker was a perfect prequel to the dark knight and really almost makes you appreciate heath ledgers joker a little more because now that you know his backstory and why hes so reckless and crazy joaquin does an amazing job of portraying arthur the person and ledger does an amazing job portraying joker the villain

Joker struggled with "right" and "wrong".............for a while.............then he just threw that all out the window

I have wanted to see a movie like this for a long time. No fancy CGI, just depth and emotion.

i wanted to just give him a hug ..the entire time.

This language speaks to me. Hoping to one day make this passion of acting and directing of mine a reality.

RIP Avengers EndGame. Take notes

His laugh is perfect to his character because you can’t quite tell if he’s laughing or crying

Hammer just texted me "Grossly exaggerating a sub par film, Billie Relish is playing at 4:37AM, you are in!!!"
PS, this is embarrassing

Is that Bryan Callen in the white muscle shirt, in the make up room??
I think this is the scene he was in.

I think that the saddest part of these scene is that, Arthur is working as a clown so his job is to dance and basically make fun of him, but suddenly he needs to get out of the character and act as a worried man running because some kids took his sign and started to run, and I think that the sad part comes when they make fun of him being a clown when it is just his job, he is trying to gain money and have his sign back because he know he could have bad consequences if they notice he lost it, and running with a lot of desesperation, he gets hit by his own sign breaking it, while the kids laugh at him, and then, as it wasnt enough, they started to kick him and then escape with a constant laugh while arthur is very weak , dissapointed and probably resisting not to cry. :(

I don't think Joaquin could've looked more miserable than he did in that scene forcing a smile. Beautifully acted.

bruh when that gun flew out his pocket during the children's hospital scene I lost it!

I really liked that at first every Arthur's scene is a close up, showing the pressure on him. But at the end it's a wiiiiide shot across a whole street with Arthur in the middle

Anyone else see the large 'Batman Mask' in the dark negative space in the mirror at 1:01?

Of all the DC and even Marvel's movie I've watched, this movie is too much realistic and much more human than all of the Superhero movies combined. And Heath Ledger would be proud seeing this.

The moment I think a lot of people in the theater realized his mother was even more sick than we had thought at first was when she said "don't you have to be funny to be a comedian?". So many people gasped in the theater at the moment like we couldn't believe she said that

Brilliant director with attention to every detail, perfect collab with the awesome Vegan actor Joaquin Phoenix to produce this gem of a movie.

Best Picture! Best Actor! Hands down, Masterpiece!!!! I'm watching the Academy Awards this year. If Joker doesn't get both, the Academy is completely bias, and I'll never give two shits about it again.

He looks like House in House drama!

Arthur Fleck i just want to hug you... so sad :( Can we just be kind to one another?

Instead of addressing the social ailments in the US we rather medicate ourselves to alleviate the pain... The state cut Arthur's meds, he flipped...
