I think SB 49 should be in the top 5. That game was competitive, included legendary moments, had fantastic plays and went tight down to the wire.

Number 1 game easily that SF vs Dallas game. Started a dynasty....and football wasn’t nearly what it is back then with the colts vs giants game like GTFOH smh.

Super Bowl XLII the only Super Bowl ranked in the Top 5 NFL's Greatest Games which means it is officially the greatest Super Bowl of all time

The giants plan was to have 3 hof players on the dline. GENIUS

15:19 The only time Ronnie Lott ever came out on the losing end of a hit.

5:53 It's "hook & lateral" not "hook & ladder". Only idiots think this play is called a hook & "ladder".

Through common misuse, "ladder" has taken root....for the same reason that "I could care less" or "heart-wrenching" have become common. People repeat what they think they heard, failing to grasp what exactly it is they are saying. Then other mentally lazy people repeat the incorrect phrase, and it takes root.

The play literally involves a hook by the WR, followed by a LATERAL to the trailing player. Bill Walsh had a "hook & lateral" play in his playbook in Cincinnati, one of (if not THE) earliest known vestiges of this play. And he called it a hook and "lateral". Any other name for the play is merely an empty-headed corruption of what the play is actually called.

Old Ed Sheeran really had me on the edge of my seat with his story about eating toast. Isn't this dude supposed to be like a well-known sportswriter or something? Because he's not selling himself very well.

NFL on "real film" is just a beautiful thing.

Is that #1 footage colorized? It's got an odd look to it.

How could you put a failed comeback in front of that Giants-Pats Superbowl? Egregious

2:04 Michael Strahan was such a badass hype man he wasn’t all about being an obnoxious one but a very serious one that made you believe in yourself

I'm surprised the 2006 divisional game Pats vs Chargers wasn't anywhere on the list. Even like somewhere from 80-100.

2007 patriots should have gone down as the best team ever... Hats off to the Giants.

2 of top 5 games are Cowboy's losses? Gee no bias against the Cowboys. I guess you hate us cuz you aint us.

1 should have been super bowl 51

SB 51 deserves to be 1

The fact that Super Bowl 42 is ranked higher Super Bowl 51 makes my blood boil

What a stupid choice for #1

I thought the titans rams super bowl where the guy came one yard short from the game winning touchdown would’ve at least made top 5

Y’all haters for not putting Super Bowl 51 at #1 there will never be another game that epic in all of sports in our lifetimes

Read the Book by Mark Boweden it is called the greatest game ever it is really goes into great detail about the game but both Giants and Colts

Thank Goodness they gave the Epic in Miami the respect it deserves. Although I think The Catch is a bit overrated but still a great game. This top 5 is honestly much better than the top 5 of the 100 Greatest Plays.

The Epic in Miami was the first real great football game I watched. The first iconic moment was just a week later, "The Catch". They each deserve their lofty ranking. But I also don't think that 49er-Cowboy NFC title game was all that great. A lot of sloppiness. Shouldn't be close to #1, but the Clark catch should be #1 or 2 as most memorable.

falcons loss to the patriots is the best game of all time

Game #5 is 80% of the reason Eli Manning will be in the Hall of Fame.
