What did you think about Drew Brees' performance?

@Connie B if it makes you feek better: goff has regressed to below average qb and mcvay doing everything possible to get gurley production...Rams this year is a weaker team.

@Connie B yall cant beat us without the extra help from your refs...got that asswhipped in the SB

Connie B did you watch football last year? Rams got killed in the beginning of the season. Drew is a vet whether you like it or not. Saints had more sacks than anyone last week as well. Good luck Jared Goff...

Desperate. Why are Aints in that position? We shall see in LA this week. What will Brees do after a few manhandlings by Aaron Donald or CLay Matthews. Rams horns up!

This isn't going to age well

Who Dat! Deez Lutz!

that’s how montana did it

Thank you CC for bringing up the argument I have been debating the whole off season about Drew falling off at the end of the season! Mid week everyone knew we only had one real target wide out. You take MT out of the game, no one to throw to! Now with Jared Cook in the mix and a healthy Ted Ginn, this season could be very interesting.

Every startin qb falls off at the end..Who maintained throughout post season? This is not a relevant argument.

The Texans defense just gave Brees them yards last drive.. just gave it to them.. Romeo Romeo, where art thou? Know the situation.. know what they are working towards.. a field goal or a touch down? how should a defense play with just a 37 seconds and they need a field goal to win? play them tight up on the line, bump and run and keep the safeties about 7 yards off the line.. they want quick passes and quick receptions.. and get up to the line quick and spike the ball.. that is what they want.. you need to jam them at the line.. disrupt their routes, keep everything in the middle of the field, no outs, take them away.. do not allow them out of bounds under any condition.. and if they catch the ball, and you tackle them.. gang tackle holding them up for as long as you can till your buddies arrive, and then tackle him to the ground and pile on holding him to the ground till they come and unpile the pile.. that is what smart teams do.. that is what coordinators with an ounce of defensive savvy do.. we can go back in archives and pull up teams and see how they play the last minute with all the last minute drives. the smart teams on defense do exactly what I Just said.. but the Texans.. no, they put three safeties 30 yards off the line of scrimmage with 6 seconds to go knowing they only need 7 yards or so for a field goal.. Romeo Romeo, where art thou Romeo? And understand this.. all the best defenses you can ever name ever in the NFL, were all 4-3 defenses.. you can not name one 3-4 defense which was a named defense respected as a top defense ever.. we could go over some names.. like the Purple people eaters.. the Orange Crush, the Steal Curtain, the bears defense, the No name defense, the fearsome foursome defense.. ect.. you name it, it was always a 4-3.. for the life of me I can not see why any team in the NFL knowing this plays a 3-4 with the exception of playing a prevent to rush 3 and cover with 8.. the difference between rushing 3 down linemen and 4 is huge.. you go from having 2 men double blocked with one man single blocked to 1 man double blocked and 3 men single blocked.. Romeo, its time to make some serious changes dude..

We would have taken it either or....cant stop a hurricane boss

I wish I never clicked read more on your comment

Your convinced the saints will be tough????? OH REALLY???? Nobody needed to hear that

Very insightful..Its based on how it really tough for teams to beat saints the past couple years

Excellent guys. Such Class and intelligence from you both.

What did you expect? Brees is older than Texans franchise

@Hussain14000 lol yeah I figured you were referring to his amount of time in the league. 😄

@Titanbrotha00 sorry my bad .. I meant he's been playing in the NFL before Texans

Well every player in the game is older than the Texans' franchise tbh.

Go Saints

We shall see in LA this week .

We will see because we coming playing for keeps

I agree with Chris completely. The coaching staff did an atrocious job this is Drew Brees not Goff.

Brees and Payton picked on CB Aaron Colvin all night long. That was a high quality game and Lutz has a strong leg. It would have been good from 65.

Our pass rush will just get better when rankins and david o return...
Davenport looks bad though

@David Barber Facts I think he will show up big this week against the Scams. Truly believe our front four is too much for them LA scammers

@J Cella it aint over for him yet...i watched some of his interviews and just my opinion he doesnt look very confident at all...hopefully he works out...we put allt of pressure on him to for sure

He need to feed off Rankin's and he will just gotta stay healthy

BIG NUTZ LUTZ

Go ahead and call me crazy Drew Brees will not last the season

Crazy

Will lutz is low key one of the best kickers in the game and one of the most under rated

Man I said that to my dad during the game.
HOF one day maybe do kickers ever get HOF?

Why did nick think the saints would be easy? Cuz cowboys beat them by 3 pts at dallas?

@uptownla5o4 i agreed but i dont want to start talking about bias officiating..Cuz man twe got too much to talk about..We gotta bury teams to overcome the zebras

murderofcrows21 that game was such a fluke and cowboys fans will not stop bragging about it..bad playcalls drops horrible officiating and still the saints came close to winning..when I think of that game what I remember most is jaylon Smith not getting flagged for a brutal helmet to helmet hit on kamara and Cole beasely getting that first down even though he was clearly no where near the first down marker but when you play the cowboys in Dallas you expect horrible calls

The league wishes every game was like this: 900 yards combined offense, two last minute lead changes, last second winning FG and bad ref calls against the winning team.

DaBreeze, he be da best-est! 🤓

Oh shut up, they barely beat the Texans by luck they didn't look all that great like everyone claiming they are

Calm down bro its not luck they won they just played better. They have 16 more weeks to play and for you to doubt and cry about how good they are. Whodat

We were missing 3 keys guys on our Dline last night to lol

Lol!!!!! Exactly what I've been telling everyone!!!!! We are missing half of our defensive line!!!! Wait til we get everyone back and healthy!!!@

Yes we were.

Jeffery Phillips we were missing a oline man and receiver to lol. And 4 players on the offense was playing their first game with us
