Chef Ramsay is closely followed during eight of the most intense months of his life as he opens his first (and now flagship) restaurant in Royal Hospital Road in Chelsea, which would ultimately earn him the highly prestigious (and rare) three Michelin Stars. It also covers his participation in the dinner made at the Palace of Versailles to celebrate the closing of the 1998 World Cup and features young chefs Marcus Wareing and Mark Sargeant at the early stages of their careers, as well as mentor Marco Pierre White.

Boiling Point was the first mass exposure of Ramsay to television audiences, revealing his highly driven, impatient and hot tempered personality which has become his trademark.

People are snowflakes in this world... come on people Ramsay is the best at what he does and he is passionate about his craft . Everyone is afraid of the cussing yet they listen to rap music and when home cuss like a sailor themselves. If someone comes in your house and I reference house as your business , you want to learn from the best suck it up or leave . Like the one guy said no different if your in the armed services they are trying to get you to be your best And cuddling you like a baby only makes SNOWFLAKES ! ❄️. Everyone is quick to Judge Gordon but all the cooks , chefs flock to Gordon to despite his cussing because they know he has what it takes to run a restaurant , succeed and make top chefs.

All the money and prestige in the world wouldn't make me want to wake up every morning, look in the mirror and say "Ah bollocks, I'm Gordon Ramsay".

Wait I remember this in Hell’s Kitchen he punishes the blue team and turns the fans off and he said one time he had to do that in one of his restaurants

Why don't they listen?

What a nasty cunt Gordon is. All this spite just for his precious ego.

How can the energy of the food be good served under that toxic condition Gordon has created.

And the staff should of berated him for his impotent management for not having back up air conditioning in place. All he needed was three portable units. Twat.

"Well done.....gold star......asshole..." - Gordon Ramsey

This entire documentary and almost the entirety of Gordon's career can be summarised by one under-appreciated quote at 1:05:45 - -

"Ramsay's attempt at relaxing his staff ISN'T working."

Woman holding massive sign saying BRAMLEYS - Policeman goes up to said woman and ask what is the demo about? Fucking bell end.

For bosses like Gordon that threaten people on a dime..I learn what I can and then as soon as I get a chance I move on, even if the new job pays less. Fortunately, not every boss is like him. Incidently for people who say "you learn a lot to become successful. That's not always the case.

Mr. Ramsey is a legend and an inspiration to many. He is a man living on his on rules, has a great morality and he is honest. Always judged by media and "food critics" who have some sort of agenda behind their criticism, yet he never got backed down by those real bullies and went his way with his passion.

I love a person with drive. Verbal abuse is nothing if your working for the master and learning like he did. Get it right or go home. I believe in Gordon.

I wonder how often he licks his rag to clean a plate during service?

It's gross isn't it.

Does anyone care if they see a waiter drinking water?

Phil Fry he made it seem like it was the simple act of drinking the water idk as a customer I wouldn’t give a dusty fuck if I saw a waiter drinking

@dain6492 No, but I think it was in relation to drinking water in front of sweating customers. I'm not sure and this doesn't give you the full context. I think the waiter was being lazy and not doing his job while drinking water. That is my assumption.

Phil Fry does drinking water make you a bad waiter?

Those waiters are legit getting like $900 a week they better be good lol

"For once Ramsey is putting his money where his big mouth is"
What an utter shite,
Ramsy is a phenomenal chef so what's the problem..
And being rude about is just unnecessary...
Fuck this narrator and his uppity attitude

Military and kitchen has somethin very important in common; if you fuck up, you can end up having people killed. If you don't understand the responsibilities of these professions, don't bother commenting on how people train the newbies. Fuck off.

It appears as though people are upset at the harshness with which Ramsay treats people for mistakes, most notably the band-aid (plaster) incident. Let me just say that there's a lot that goes on that customers don't know about, and a lot of intricacy that just isn't visible to those who don't work in the field.

The blue plasters are for food prep staff, as the color stands out and can be easily noticed if it falls off, be it by seeing the plaster itself or by seeing the lack of it on the wound. clear plasters are for hosts, etc. because it's not supposed to be noticed there.

It may seem petty to freak out about such a thing, but top-class establishments are top-class for a reason. Not only is it his fault for using a blue plaster anyways, it's also everyone else's fault for not noticing it or not calling him out on it. Hell, on an opening night that important, I'd say he got off easy.
