I love Jeremy, but he’s a little too cynical for me personally
Dave Chappelle hasn't changed. Only people's perspective & social P.C. has.
I loved the special. It was hysterical, and he made fun of everyone. Nothing was off limits and it was a big middle finger to cancel culture and the thought police in the access media, and the scores on RT reflect that, with a 16% critic score and a 99% viewer score really show how disconnected they are from what people actually think of this cancel culture. The times, they are a’changin.
Netflix flushed 60million down the drain on 3 specials for this guy but according to critics nobody will watch it? Netflix clearly knows that he will pay the bills for them, aint nobody being fooled here. But it'll all be over soon. Go quietly into the darkness, outrage culture.
"Free of the fucks given that plague people on a daily basis" As an aspiring YouTuber, that rocks out with its cock out. Best advice I've heard in a minute 👏
Dave Chapelle is over rated
I’m cracking up at the special all over again with all these quotes in the comments.
you should apply for the job of directing the planes on the runway.
My favorite thing from the special was when he said that Macaulay Culkin would have been the first child he would have molested IF he was a child molester because he could brag that HE caught the Home Alone kid that always got away and knew how to protect himself. Hysterically funny 😆
Dave is a master(period)
Sticks & stones is what society needs right now.
Funny thing is, the 5x 0 scores made me rush to watch it snd give it 5* on Netflix.
So fact: Rotten Tomatoes blocked reviews to all but 5 selected critics with sjw tendencies on purpose to drive down viewership of this special. Once they got backlash, they opened it to everyone and now it sits near 100%.
The show was great. One of the only times I've ever laughed with no one else around.
Real talk bro👍👍 great show
I will always refer to Steve Hughes' comedy about people being offended, especially when it's in a comedy environment. Nothing happens when you are offended. It's not like you are offended and then the next day you wake up with leprosy. People don't care if you are offended. Grow the fuck up and deal with it. "But he was a dick to me." Don't worry about it. It's called life. If I didn't have the humor growing up as a minority in America as a Chinese-American to deal with racism and prejudice, I would've probably died long time ago.
The only thing wrong with this special was that it was only an hour long. We need more!!
The rotten tomatoes audience to critic review percentage is dave's last indirect joke to that show
This review was surprisingly wholesome. Apparently, it is possible to talk about controversial things without freaking out. Makes me feel kinda good listening to it.
That nigga funny, and funny is right.
All i say is that if a White/non Black comedian made jokes using n-words and other racist slurs, Chappelle wouldn't be like "that's so funny and provocative". I hate people like this, if you're on with the whole "not politically correct" thing that's cool, but keep the same fucking energy when someone say anything that offends you or the group you're included in.
He's shit and you're shit
You say that as if either of them give a shit about your opinion
Best laugh i ever had since the crazy left invented political correctness...
if a friend of mine hangs himself and after I while I watch in tv a comedy special when someone talks about ropes, I may feel bad. But this is how life works. If you want always to be in a safe space, you are not acting like an adult person. Life has no "safe space". My two cents.
The whole thing is funny, it’s how I feel inside
Dave chappelle is And always will be the greatest comedian that ever stepped on a stage. Today’s society is just so fucken soft and can’t take a simple joke.

I think America tries to scare it's citizens into giving up their confidence to outside forces, which leads to safespaces, trying to control the world around them by force because they're 'helpless" and need to make sure it's super controlled.
I watched Sticks and Stones without even knowing what kind of reviews it got. All i saw was "Dave Chappelle" and I thought "OH I LOVE THAT GUY! HE'S HILARIOUS!" and decided to watch it all the way through. AND YEAH! IT WAS REALLY FUNNY! I missed his unfiltered style! and not once EVER did I hear him say something homophobic, bigoted, transphobic, or whatever. Dave Chappelle never presents material that promotes hatred, and that is the bottom line. He may talk about uncomfortable situations, scenarios, and topics, but like a great comedian, he mostly just points out the absurdity behind culture! I loved his performance! I can't wait for another!
Bill Burr’s new special was better, imo.
