We challenged chefs of three different levels - an amateur, a home cook and a professional chef - to make their versions of macaroni and cheese. And then we brought in a food scientist to review their work. Which mac & cheese was the best?

I like this series but they need to have someone, besides the cook that made it, taste the final products. #s 1 and 2 looked good but I'd like to hear a second review on #3. The topping may be good but it seemed a little weird. As to cook #2, I think he thought he was trying out for a Food Network show.

Idk if Is it me? But I couldn't stand the guy in the middle." I grew up been Italian, adding Olive oil" . Real Italians don't add oil to pasta.

I don't think level 1 was a level 1. Level 3 may have been a level 2, and level 2......kinda scares me a little.

I like level one

Why is this whole series called 4 Levels? It's 3 Levels And A Food Scientist

Level 1 looks the most appealing to be honest. Level 2 & 3 probably tastes better but if you hadn't told me it was mac' and cheese, at first glance I would've thought it was apple pie.

I wish people would stop dissing the level 3's Mac n cheese, like Jesus Christ people have you ever heard of creating a complex flavor. Cheese isn't the only thing to it. And even so, sweetness tastes good with cheese.

Yeah I get it, but if you don't use macaroni noodles it's not mac n cheese.
